BMW G310R bike Mileage, Specifications || Full Review....
The BMW G310R bike is one of the most awaited motorcycles in India since its unveiling at the 2016 Auto Expo while the G310 GS is expected to make its Indian debut at the 2018 Auto Expo. BMW wanted theira new small capacity motorcycle to have a design that will go with their entire product portfolio. After a long wait and endless rumors. BMW finally pulled the wrap off their first small capacity motorcycle, the G310R. At first look at the G310R doesn’t look very attractive but the design grows on you. Developed under a joint venture between the German automaker and India's TVS Motor Company. This new BMW G310R bike offering has been crafted and Engineered by BMW in Munich but will be produced in Bangalore at TVS Motor’s facility in the bike. The motorcycles are being exported for sale in the international market as of now.
Features
When it comes to features, BMW has loaded the G310R with a 41mm upside-down fork at the front and mono shock with adjustable preload at the rear. Time and again, the launch date of the G310R has been postponed in India. “We need to have an adequate retail infrastructure before it becomes available here”. The BMW G310R gets mild off-roading capabilities with longer-travel suspension set-up. The bike has a curb weight of 158kgs, which is quite good for a bike in this segment. The bike rides on 110/70 R17 tires in the front and 150/60 R17 at the rear. The BMW G310R bike will be competing in the entry-level sports segment against the Mahindra Mojo, Kawasaki Z 250, KTM Duke 390 and the Bajaj Dominar 400. With a fuel tank capacity of 11 liters, the bike can be ridden for approximately 330kms before stopping at a fuel station. Seat height:785 mm (30.9 in) in this bike.

Talking about its mechanicals, the G310R bike is powered by a 313cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. The liquid-cooled engine that comes mated to a six-speed transmission. The BMW G 310 is powered by a 313 cc single-cylinder. That is tuned to produce 34 BHP of maximum power along with a peak torque rating of 28 Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed gearbox. To this bike are ensure efficient burning of fuel, the BMW G310R bike has twisted the cylinder head around by 180 degrees thereby allowing a straight path for the fuel and air mixture. Larger 19-inch front wheel and some other mechanical and cosmetic changes. The German manufacturer claims a top C of 145kmph and fuel efficiency of 36.05kmpl. The BMW G310R mileage is 30 km/pl.

The “BMW G310R” bike is available in three beautiful color’s: 1)cosmic black one, 2)Strato blue metallic and – as a real highlight – 3)pearl white metallic.
Suspension & Braking System
BMW G310R high powerful braking system. The BMW G310R bike gets a 300mm single-disc with radially bolted four-piston caliper at the front and a 240mm two-piston caliper at the rear. New model disk Braking. It is likely that BMW and TVS’ entry level G310R will deliver a claimed mileage of 30km/pl in city and 36.5kmpl on the highway. The bike will also get a standard dual-channel anti-lock-braking system. Stopping power on the bike will come from the 300mm single disc front brake and 240mm rear disc brake with the 2-piston floating caliper in this bike.
Launch date and price
BMW G310R motorcycle will be launched in the country in early 2018; however, the bike won’t be launched in the first H2 of 2018. The wait for the Indian motorcycling enthusiasts will be a little longer as the company has again pushed back its launch to the second half of 2018.
We expect the bike to be priced between Rs 2.0 lakh to Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
