Audi Q7 40 TFSI Launch
Audi India was trending throughout the day. Audi had just launched the Q7 and a Petrol at that. Audi will add a petrol engine to its Q7 line-up in India, Badged as the Q7 40 TFSI. In this age where Audi itself, as well as Other Manufacturers, are fast embracing electric and hybrid cars. The Audi’s flagship SUV will now be on the offered with petrol and diesel engine options in the engine. The general assumption is it is a 5.0-metre plus 2,330kg leviathan and will have a V6 or V8 petrol engine. Right on the first two counts but not on the last two.
Engine performance:-
The Audi Q7 petrol's engine has been downsized. Much like the A3 and A4 before it. When it comes to performance, the 2018 Audi Q7 ranks as one of the best luxury midsize SUVs on the market. The Audi Q7 more nimble and energetic than most, but the ride is still smooth and composed. The new Audi Q7's petrol engine is a 4-cylinder 1967cc turbocharged motor that makes 252PS and 370Nm of torque. Audi claims 6.5sec to 62mph for our test car in the road, and we validated that at 6.2sec to 60mph. That makes the Q7 quicker than the current stock Porsche Cayenne Diesel by the best part of a second. The Audi Q7 engine is super silent on start-up, making you wonder if it is actually one of Audi's hybrid powertrains. Impressive because of the 2,300kg curb weight that this small motor has to pull.
Looks & seat:-
The Audi Q7 is one handsome vehicle, but in the same league as the new Volvo XC90. The only one difference between the Q7 diesel and Petrol car engine in the Audi. This liberates a bit more usable luggage space in the cabin. Goodies like powered seats, panoramic sunroof, adaptive air suspension, auto park assist and Apple Car Play connectivity were standard in this Q7 petrol Technology Pack trim. And Audi Q7 is looking so good. Seat capacity seven. in the car, doors are five, boot space 295- Litres and fuel capacity 75 Liters.
