KTM Duke has launched the updated BS-IV version of the 200 Duke in India. The 200 Duke was KTM Duke first offering for India. Which includes the updated KTM 200 Duke. Along with the Duke 200, KTM had also introduced the new Duke 390, which was revealed publically at last year’s EICMA. The KTM Duke terms of looks, the new KTM Duke 200 remains largely unchanged with superficial changes bestowed upon the bike. Stopping power is derived from disc brakes and ABS adds further dint to it. Suspension mechanism comprises WP upside-down front forks and Monoshock rear unit. That said KTM compared to the older version, the 2017 model does get some considerable new style features and here we have listed them all. KTM Duke Bike gets high-level spec suspension in the form of 43m WP upside down forks up front and a WP mono shock at the rear.

Design and Styling:-
The KTM Duke 200cc bike looks like a scaled-down version of the 1290 Super Duke R and is retains the single-piece frame from the outgoing model in the KTM. The features and equipment offered with the 2017 KTM 200 Duke have been carried over from the older model. In the front, the LED headlamp unit has been replaced with the halogen lamps. Along with the split headlamps, The bike also sports high-mounted blinkers, restyled fuel tank, Smaller rear section, exposed trellis sub-frame and larger tank shrouds with contrasting colors. The company has also introduced two new black and white paint schemes in addition to the existing orange color. The new master cylinder and lever aide improved braking performance. In addition to that the bike, like its larger siblings, now comes with Automatic Headlamp On function as well.

2017 KTM Duke 200 Engine:-
The Motorcycle is powered by the same 199.5cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine that also powers the previous model. That said the engine is now BS-IV compliant like other KTM and Bajaj bikes and makes. The same amount of power as the previous model. The KTM Duke 200 Engine powering the 2017 KTM 200 Duke is the same 199.5 cc single-cylinder liquid cooled motor that was featured in the older version. The updated engine churns out 24.6 bhp and develops 19.2 Nm of peak torque and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. As for the suspension set up, It uses WP upside-down forks at the front and mono shock absorbers at the rear. For retarding power. The bike gets disc brake with the anti-lock-braking system.

KTM Duke 200 Price in India:-
The 2017 model has been launched at ₹ 1.43 Lakh, while the older model was retailed at ₹ 1.44 lakh (both ex-showroom, Delhi). The company has been increased the price of the model by Rs 4,063 Laks. It can't get any better for those looking for an entry-level performance bike and an entry into the world of a global motorcycle brand like KTM.
