Honda one of the best car manufacturer company is back again in 2017 with an all new Honda CR-V Hybrid prototype which is set to be unveiled at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show .It is the automaker’s first electrified SUV powertrain that will be available in Europe Soon.

The All new Honda CR-V

The All new Honda CR-V has Spectacular features which includes a two motor intelligent multimode drive(i-MMD) System featuring a 2.0 Litre i-VTEC Four-Cylinder Atkinson Cycle Gasoline engine paired to an electronic propulsion motor generator. This unique system also has a Separate electronic motor generator and these two electric motors are coupled which is similar to the one found in one another famous Model of Honda namely ACCORD.

I-MMD system

The i-MMD system is said to automatically determine how to use fuel and electrical energy in the most efficient way which is a very heart relieving feature for any Car Owner and it means that there is no requirement for driver to adjust between the three driving modes, Although the CR-V Hybrid has three driving modes namely EV. Hybrid and Engine Drive mode.

EV drive mode

The EV drive mode makes the CR-V operate on electrical power while in the hybrid mode, the crossover’s gasoline engine supplies power to electric generator motor, which then deliver’s power to electric propulsion motor. According to Honda in hybrid mode, excess power from gasoline engine is diverted back through generator motor to recharge the battery pack. The third driving mode that is the engine drive mode is the one in which wheels are directly driven by the gasoline engine. Hence these features make the Honda CR-V the One of the awaited model to be launched in 2017.
